Want to loose the fat? Start sprinting!

Did you know that sprints can be more effective than jogging for weight loss? You can burn a lot of calories in a very short amount of time. Twenty minutes of sprint training can burn the same number of calories as you would burn in 45 to 60 minutes of jogging. Plus, you are going anaerobic, so your body will continue to burn fat and energy for hours after you finish, which does not happen with regular cardio exercises!

In combination with this, cutting your daily carb intake to around 50-100 grams will switch your metabolism over to a fat burning machine! This has been my tried-and-true way to cut the weight when I am trying to burn fat . Doing 10x 30-yard sprints 2 x a week, 2 x 30 minute cardio sessions such as walking, swimming, elliptical and being active with the low carb diet mentioned above is like the one-two punch for fat loss. Add weight training in and you will be a new person by the end of this year! Don’t beleive me, I dare you to try it!

  • Sprints are awesome for fat loss. To make it even more challenging and burn fat even faster, try going uphill. I know, not many hills in FL, but if you find one, it takes it to another level.
